An Unforgettable Experience for 15 Lucky Children

Circus Winter Camp will welcome 15 lucky children aged 7-14 who will have the rare opportunity to spend their days away from screens each week, developing life skills such as creativity, sociability, self-concentration and balance, learning to set and achieve goals and manage themselves. Oh! They will also put on a circus show! All through play and the arts of contemporary circus combining seamlessly art and sport during a period they will never forget!

Where

At the Circus Hub (Empedokleous 60-62 and Filolaou in Pangrati), the children will delve into balance games and skills of the natural world, exploring the limits of their ability on a journey of self-discovery and fun.

Who We Are

Circus Winter Camp is based on the experience of the people of fundastick performing arts who transmit the arts of the circus through quality entertainment and educational programs.

The head of  Circus Winter Camp is Panagiotis Argyrakis. With professional experience in Marketing and Management, he founded fundastick performing arts in 2002 turning  his passion for the circus arts into a profession. He has vast experience working with children. He run the Juggling & Dexterity Club at the Latseio Elementary School of Athens College from 2011 to 2024 and has taken part in the summer camps of Athens College, ACS (American Community Schools), Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology, Tetragono Art Space and of course fundastick’s own. He is married and has two children (17 and 15 years old).

At the camp we emphasize the transmission of values such as effort, trust, self-respect and teamwork and we are here to guide the children achieving small goals on the path of self-confidence.

Indicative Program

8:30-9:30 Arrival

9:30-10:30 Relaxation, Meditation, Warm-up, Strengthening exercises.

10:30-12:00 Lesson: Balance, peacock feathers, Chinese plates, rola-bola, stilts, slack line, pedal-go, unicycle, ground acrobatics.

12:00-12:15 Break, snack.

12:15-13:30 Lesson: Functional Juggling, juggle board, balls, hoops, scarves.

13:30-14:30 Break, first departure, lunch, rest.

14:30-16:00 Lesson: Poi, staff, diabolo, contact juggling, juggling clubs.

16:00-17:00 Setting up the show, free play, story telling, rest.

17:00-17:30 Departure

The program may be changed depending on the children participating. It is structured to facilitate learning regardless of the ability level of each child. The policy of encouragement is strictly followed and no child is ever the recipient of negative comments.

Please provide your child with a snack and lunch. Some snacks will be available on site for emergencies only.
